Cannock Chase

Yet again Cannock Chase has not disapointed, what a glorious place and so close by, cannot stop marveling about this area, went back again today after failing to find the Small Pearl-Bordered Fatillary on Wednesday, what a difference three days can make to a place, had difficulty finding one Wednesday, found 25 to 30 today and even had the privelage of seeing one hatch, the other shots were a bonus and as you can see we were not the only one's enjoying the glorious weather. Also got the tan topped up who needs Spain or Greece !!!!!!!

Cannock Chase

Great day out at Cannock Chase, never disapoints, went in via Brocton Coppice (Punch Bowl), for a change, but still had chance to paddle in the stream just up from the Stepping stones. On the way back found a small pond well hidden and had a good hour chasing the Dragonflies!!

Westport Lake

As still getting over car accident, cannot pick up the big camera, let alone hold it steady, and could not venture too far from home, so had a trip to Westport Lake, these images taken with Cannon powershot, which is much more my size!!!

Rudyard Lake.

Out of action for a while due to a car accident, but just a few images at Rudyard and the river Churnet and a rare shot of my Dearly Beloved on a stake out, taken a couple of days before my demise. Hope it won't be too long before I'm out in the thick of it again.
