Yesterday we headed to were the sun was shining, although windy enough to almost knock you off your feet, we headed to Tatton Park, Red Deer and Fallow Deer there are infectious and once you get the bug, you will not be able to stay away, if your careful they just let you wonder amongst them, which is not only magical but at times even humbling and you get lost in the moment for hours, well worth a visit.

Fenton Park.
Tuesday morning, 27th December was the first time myself and Dearly Beloved, could make it to Fenton Park, to see the Lesser Whitethroat and we spent three hours enjoying it's antics and calls (which for such a small bird were very loud and distinctive). However, with only a few rays of sunshine getting through the clouds, the bird never landed on the right side of the bush and with so much foliage the auto focus was useless, so it was over to mannual which with my poor eye sight, is not a good move, but at least I now have a record shot to hopefully improve on.

Flying Solo Without "The Seal".
Okay! So it was only Rudyard Lake, but still had to find the right area and when I finally got there, the sun was so low in the sky it could not make it over the tree's and the place looked desolate, I thought I had missed my chance, when no what should be steaming towards me but the Eider, managed to lie amongst the rocks before it saw me, but just wish the sun had been higher. Oh well as "The Seal" would say, that's photography for you!!
