Rudyard Staffordshire

Great excitement yesterday and today, at Rudyard with the Caspian Tern being in residence, I could not get a record shot yesterday but at least managed better today.

Bosley, Cheshire.

We had a very productive day in our wood yesterday, and only a short walk was necessary between the Pond and the Farm Track, Starting off with a new hatching of the Southern Hawker and an adult patrolling the Pond, to the farm track teaming with Butterflies, with 49 Tortoiseshell alone. Swallowtail Butterflies Norfolk

Sorry for the delay in getting these photo's of a stunning Swallowtail Butterfly onto my site, it gave myself and OH some 30 minutes plus of pleasure on our recent two day break to Norfolk, last week-end but with working full time for a few weeks it has taken me some time to troll through all my shots as this is the first sighting for me, these were taken in the car park at Horsey, were we only found two on our second day, having spent the most of day one at Strumpshaw Fen Nature Reserve with not even a fleeting glance. More images can be found on my Zenfolio Web Site, if you do visit my site please remember to leave your comments, they are much appreciated.
