Day three has been the best yet especially for the weather, a round up photographic wise is below, however, the day started with a sighting of Seals off the Shore line at Hunstanton, hundreds of Pink Footed Geese have been seen overhead all day long, a Wryneck was seen by the Lighthouse at Hunstanton but not stationary long enough to capture a shot and Two Marsh Harriers spotted this evening, with waders throughout the day too numerous to mention.

Day One Of Norfolk!
The day started well, set off at 7am from North Stoke but unfortunately we were leaving the good weather behind, also a Common Scoter (female) found at Westport Lake (go figure, you can't leave home for five mins !)arrived in Norfolk around 10.30 am, with the weather getting worse by the second, with what seemed like tons of alerts coming through from Bird Guides via mobile phone, with all the species being blown our way, just hope weather improves to be able to record some of them.
Oh well tomorrow is another day!!! Dearly Beloved has already spent the afternoon wetting my apetite with a five hour tour of all the Harbours along the coast, that should produce some good photo's given the wind and rain receding, will keep you posted on progress...blast must go that's another message from Bird Guides coming through!!

A Few Extra's!
A couple of shots of the Grey Heron at Knypersley and very pleased to get a record shot of the Ruddy Duck's at an undisclosed location for obvious reasons, that as a beginner I find very hard to get my head around. Were is the protection for our wildlife species!!!

Blithfield Reservoir.
My first visit to Blithfield Reservoir,( although dearly beloved has been promising a visit for sometime), the surrounding woodlands are a lovely back drop and I find the place is only one year older than myself, would you believe it, it ranks amongst the nations most significant waters for wildfowl and immigrant waders (one of which we were lucky enough to find today on its way to Africa), Blithfield supplies a population of 1 1/2 million with an average daily supply of 75 million gallons of water, that's a good few brews and no mistake!!!

Still out and about discovering yet more new places close to home, less than a mile from Knypersley you will find Marsh Hill, You would not believe the view, in fact last night Dearly Beloved dragged me back there to view the Nasa Space Station going over, good choice as we had a great view, he knows how to spoil a Girl!!! Below a few shots taken there earlier in the day.
