Worth The Visit To Jersey Alone!!
Having spent a week on the Isle of Mull chasing a single Hen Harrier, without even a record shot, to have up to 4 in the sky and about the same number going in and out of the marsh area viewed from the hides in the Wetlands Centre between St Peters and St Ouen was a joy to behold, I had decided to spend the morning with a local Birder Neil Singleton, anyone visiting Jersey should contact Neil on jbneil.singleton@gmail.com as he is very knowledgeable, he also works with the Durrell National Trust for Jersey and was telling me of their project to re introduce Chough back to the island, the female below was spotted on the way, in a field, Neil slowed down the car to allow me time to get my camera ready and the rest is history!!!!
