Ayre Trip Day 2

Day two of a fantastic trip to Ayreshire, had fantastic weather and turned out to be a great trip both for scenery and was lucky enough to find eight Black Guillemot's in Ardrossan Harbour, the scenery shots will be posted soon as I have now finished working for HMPS and now teach locally, so no more nights, weekends or long day and evening shifts Hooray!!! working 9 to 3 Monday to Friday is like being semi-retired and will leave more time for trips away, off to Isle of Skye in four weeks time. My quest is to visit the whole of the British Isles Coast Line. Rock Pipit Red-Breasted Merganser Black Guillemot Black Guillemot Black Guillemot

Detour On The Way To Ayrshire

On the way for a couple of days on the West Coast of Scotland namely Ayrshire, made a detour to Lancashire for the Barn Owls I have seen and heard a lot about, they did not disappoint within just an hour saw three Barn Owls and two Short Eared Owls, would like to have spent more time with them but had a long drive ahead, so a good excuse to visit again.
